If you're happy and you know it..... Jump!

This week I heart faces challenge is Jump. You can fake smiles, giggles or romantic sessions, but you can never fake a joyful jump. This photo was taken when we bought our first house, closing day..... welcome to escrow... 30 years from now I'll try to recreate the jump... with some assistance of course.
So, next time you are filled with pure happiness, don't be shy.. jump! It will be part of those precious pixels..

Waiting for Baby Joseph

 I had the great pleasure of photograph parents to be J&M at a local BabiesRUs. This session was fun, I follow them along the baby shower registry process. I forgot how much stuff newparents need... They tried on chairs, they played with toys and they imagine new outfits on his little one. It is a time to remember and to register in those precious pixels.

Life it's a Carnival!

Gabriella's Girly Carnival Party was full of details ...pink and blue details. Her 8th Birthday was celebrated at home, Daddy and Mommy were really particular with this party. They know next year Gaby will turn 9 and probably instead of a party she would like a cell phone.. and then .. you know what happens when a tween gets a cell phone.......

The joy of Sharing

Every year -since 2007 - I share a holiday tradition with fellow crafters, an ornament swap. Every year, I open 10 envelopes and explore the imagination and inspiration of these incredible artist... I tried to post every picture of my ornaments but sadly I did not found them, worst I don't know if I took any.. the only one I found was the very first I made...it was a pine cone angel which turn -in my humble opinion- OK! Celebrating Mother Earth

April 22nd is Earth Day, it's only a few short days away! This year We decided to get involved and pledge our commitment with Mother Earth, You can go ahead and make a pledge to... there's so much you can do: Reduce the use of paper, turn off the lights, recycle at home, plant a tree... it can sound quite redundant but every little thing you do, helps the planet! Buzzing around the Bee Baby Shower

Want a perfect theme for a Spring Baby? Bees! It can be so much fun. This is what we did: First we fall in love with this fondant bees by Mayen 

After 35 bees you may think this is not a good idea but trust me, it is!

We decided to grow Wheatgrass for the centerpieces - I also tried the juice... no comments!- Whole foods carry the seeds, I bought a pound and was enough for 6 centerpieces.

I know, super cute!

Then I found this beehive, I added some more bees and it was perfect!

Note to self: Please make sure to designate a photo-helper in your Baby Shower and/or take the pics yourself, you may be very pregnant and about to pop and have nothing to do with pictures but... 4 to 5 months after the baby delivery when you finally have time to start the photo album ..... you are going regret no to do so!!!!!!  Love,

Baby bird is on her Way!

When litte Francesca was on her way, this lovely idea came up to welcome our baby girl. Birds, branches and nests were the inspiration for that pink-shower day!
